Tattoo aftercare stage with Roly Vizion

The basics

Clean, light,and left alone.

The exact timing depends on the dressing, placement, size, and your skin. Use the instructions from your appointment as the primary guide.

Follow the wrap instructions

Your written instructions will match the dressing used at the appointment. Keep that guide nearby and contact Roly before changing the routine.

Wash gently

Use clean hands, mild soap, and water. Pat the tattoo dry rather than rubbing it, and keep towels, bedding, and clothing clean.

Keep the layer light

Use the mild moisturizer recommended in your appointment instructions. A heavy layer can trap moisture and create unnecessary irritation.

Let it heal

Do not pick peeling skin or scabs. Avoid swimming and prolonged soaking while the tattoo is healing, and choose clothing that will not stick or rub.

When to get medical help

Watch for a changein the wrong direction.

Some tenderness, light redness, clear fluid, itching, and flaking can occur during normal healing. Seek prompt medical care if redness spreads or darkens, pain worsens instead of easing, or you develop pus, open sores, fever, or chills.

Trouble breathing, chest tightness, dizziness, hives, intense swelling, or severe pain can signal a serious reaction and need immediate medical attention.

For a non-urgent question about your specific dressing, contact Roly directly. For a suspected infection or allergic reaction, contact a qualified healthcare professional. Read the appointment FAQ.

Healed work is the work

Good care protects every hour that went into the piece.
